EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and programs to ensure that organizations operate in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
This position also ensures compliance with relevant regulations, minimizes environmental impact, and protects the health and well-being of employees and the company.
– Develop and implement EHS policies and programs that align with the company’s vision, mission, and values, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as OSHA, EPA, and ISO.
– Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and evaluate potential hazards and risks, and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
– Provide training and education to employees and stakeholders on EHS topics, such as safety procedures, emergency response, waste management, and environmental awareness.
– Investigate and report any incidents or accidents that occur in the workplace, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
– Plan and coordinate emergency response activities, such as fire drills, evacuation plans, and crisis management.
– Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of EHS policies and programs, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement and optimization.
*Education:
-Bachelor or above degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field background
*Work Experience:
-At least 5 years working experience in EHS management related industry
*Skill-set & Knowledge:
-Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational safety standards, and health regulations
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and stakeholders
